In their report, Higher-Tech Product Overview, their comments on the CHI Infra-sound (Equitonic) were, “Good to excellent relief from pain in a wide variety of soft tissue, bone and joint problems. Studies have documented both improvement in inflammation and better joint fluid. Easy to use and risk free……” and “the newer infrasound therapy (low frequency waves) has no negative effects or risks” and “We used the Equitonic on stiff arthritic hocks, chronic back pain, muscle knots, a flare-up of an old tendon problem and ringbone and navicular pain. With the exception of the navicular pain, where there were obvious complicating factors, obvious relief was good to excellent in all horses. Improvement was noted on some horses within 20 minutes, with more chronic cases gradually improving during therapy for up to three weeks…In addition to the local therapy at painful areas, the unit can be used along acupuncture points or meridians, which seemed to improve the response.”
